Wed, 28 November 2007  A quick Peel Here post this week. On top of my November laziness I was blessed with an unfortunate strike of lightening on Thanksgiving, which fried both my phone jack and my DSL modem leaving me in a lurch internet-wise. To that end, I'm going to throw up some pictures of a set of puffy stickers that I'm not all that familiar with (form the show Riptide.) This is from another one of those sticker gift sets, which came with a small album. I'm crossing my fingers that I can have my internet up and running by Saturday. Stupid lightening. Aw, man...Riptide! I loved that show. It used to come on right after the A-Team! Between the two shows, it was a couple of hours of great TV. Those Riptide dudes used to fly around in the big pink helicopter that was always breaking down and stuff. Geez...I kinda forgot about that show until I read your post. Good stuff!

Doug - Glad it could stir up some memories. I guess I'm going to have to break down and rent this from Netflix. I'd hate to think that I missed out on a very vehicle-centric show of the 80s (ala A-Team, Knight Rider, Airwolf, Dukes of Hazzard, CHiPs, Street Hawk, etc.)

Riptide?! Riptide got stickers? Really? My mom used to love that show. I lump it together with all those bland buddy shows from the '80s.
